2. Our Services
Perfect & Shine provides a wide range of cleaning services, including but not limited to:
- Commercial cleaning (offices, retail, restaurants, medical practices, etc.)
- Residential cleaning (regular, deep, end of tenancy, and holiday let cleaning)
- Carpet, window, and upholstery cleaning
- Post-construction and one-off cleans
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time without prior notice.
3. Bookings & Quotes
- Bookings can be made by phone, email, or through our online form.
- All quotations are based on the information provided by the client and may be adjusted if the actual property condition differs.
- A site visit may be required before confirming the final price.
- A minimum charge may apply depending on service type or location.
4. Payments
- Payments are due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, cash, or card.
- Commercial contracts are invoiced monthly with 14–30 days payment terms.
- Late payments may incur a 5% weekly interest charge after the due date.
- Deposits (up to 50%) may be required for large or one-off bookings.
- Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before service.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Residential clients: cancellations or changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Commercial clients: 7 days' notice is required for cancellations.
- Less than 48 hours' notice may result in a 50% service charge.
- If access is not provided upon arrival, the full service fee may be charged.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances such as staff illness or severe weather.
6. Access to Property
- Clients must ensure access at the scheduled time.
- If keys are provided, they will be stored securely and labelled anonymously.
- We are not responsible for failure to clean areas that are inaccessible or unsafe.
7. Health & Safety
- All cleaning products are eco-friendly, COSHH-compliant, and safe for pets and people.
- Our staff are DBS-checked, uniformed, insured, and fully trained.
- Clients should inform us of any hazards, alarms, or access restrictions before cleaning begins.
8. Liability & Insurance
- We hold full Public and Employer's Liability Insurance.
- We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or poor installation
- Accidental damage not reported within 24 hours
- Indirect losses caused by delays outside our control
- Claims must be reported in writing within 24 hours after service completion.
9. Satisfaction Guarantee
Customer satisfaction is our priority.
- If you are not happy with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of completion.
- We will arrange a free re-clean of the affected area (at our discretion).
- Refunds are not typically provided after a re-clean has been completed.
10. Commercial Contracts
- Regular commercial cleaning agreements require a minimum 6–12 month term.
- Termination of service requires 30 days' written notice.
- Changes to schedule, frequency, or scope must be agreed in writing.

- You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any materials without our written permission.

13. Refund & Cancellation Policy
a. Residential Clients

- Less than 48 hours' notice – 50% charge applies.
- No access at time of appointment – full fee applies.
b. Commercial Clients
- Minimum 7 days' notice for schedule changes or cancellations.
- Contract cancellations require 30 days' written notice.
c. Deposits
- Deposits up to 50% may be required for large or one-off cleans.
- Non-refundable if cancelled less than 48 hours prior to service.
d. Refunds
Refunds are only issued if:
- The service was not completed as agreed and no re-clean was provided; or
- Payment was made in error and reported immediately.
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 working days.
